BOARD OF DIRECTORS

Harry E. (Eddie) Kirkus, Chairman — Waste Management, Inc.
Eddie is a divisional marketing manager for Waste Management, Inc., North America’s leading waste hauler and recycling company. Mr. Kirkus overseas the Bagster portable dumpster program, responsible for sales, service and marketing in a four state territory of Alabama, Arkansas, Kentucky and Tennessee. He brings his background in business-to-business sales, public relations, management, bookkeeping, and Inventory Control to the board. He is not paid for his volunteer service.

 

Chris Clark, Board member — SC&A Natural Resources
Chris is president of SC&A Natural Resources, a land planning company founded in 1974 with a commitment to quality sustainable design. From industrial land projects to commercial developments, the company works nation-wide to achieve a balance between the use and management of resources. Chris earned the Governor’s Award for Sustainability for single-handedly influencing Tennesseans in 94 counties statewide to plant 100,000 trees within a two-month period in 2011. He is not paid for his volunteer service.

 

Jana DeLuna, Board member — Ingram Content Group
Jana is a supervisor at Ingram Content Group where she leads a support team to assist self publishers. She is an avid bird watcher and member of the National Audubon Society. Through her volunteer work at the Nashville Clean Water Project, Jana hopes to make Nashville a cleaner place to live and play.  Jana is not paid for her volunteer service.

Barbara Mathieson, Board member — Retired

Barbara is a longtime community advocate who most recently served as board member and treasurer of Friends of Shelby Park. For many years, she blogged about trash in the environment and served on the Metro Nashville Beautification Commission. She has volunteered at the Nashville Zoo for sixteen years. Presently, she serves as a docent and animal handler teaching the public about the importance of animals in the environment and keeping our planet clean. Barbara is not paid for her volunteer service.

Kimberly Matthews, Board member — KCasteel Strategies, LLC

Kimberly is Executive President of KCasteel Strategies, LLC a healthcare consulting company. She offers us a unique background of technical expertise, managerial experience, and business leadership, with a 20+ year career in acute care, critical access, provider practices and large healthcare corporations. She is also a dynamic entrepreneur who also owns and operates a skincare consulting business. Kimberly is active in local civic and philanthropic causes, and also consults adults who have experienced trauma, unsafe relationships, PTSD or isolation, safe, platonic intuitive touch through consent and boundary guidance.  Her experience includes for-profit and not-for-profit healthcare organizations.

Lance Wagner (PE, PMP, TN-QHP), Board MemberCivil Engineering Services, PC
Lance is skilled in stormwater management, civil/site engineering, environmental remediation, stream restoration, and environmental permitting. Lance is a partner in Civil Engineering Services, PC., which manages projects across the United States. He holds several professional certifications as a stormwater manager and civil/site engineer skilled in environmental remediation, stream restoration, and environmental permitting. He served two full terms on the Stormwater Management Committee for Nashville/Davidson County, and is a former board president for two nonprofits in East Nashville. Lance is not paid for his volunteer service.
