VOLUNTEER NOW – REGISTER
What: The Nashville Clean Water Project at Percy Priest Lake, a free community cleanup and ongoing campaign against trash to benefit the environment.
When: Usually on Saturdays, from 8am until noon.
Where: Various points across Middle Tennessee
Who: You, your friends, your church groups, your neighborhood association, your colleagues, your family — you get the point. Middle Tennessee waterways really needs our help so we’ll put everyone to work!
How Much: Absolutely free, and you’ll even receive a few thank you gifts, too, like snacks, hand sanitizer, sometimes event T-shirts, new friends with similar values, and good karma for helping Mother Nature.
Other Details: Ours are outdoor events so remember to dress accordingly for heat, cold or possible rain. Also, remember safe attire for all cleanup activities such as long sleeve shirts, long pants, work boots or shoes with covered toes, work gloves, some drinking water, and a buddy.
